Embrace your touch screen fridge
Technology is creeping into everything we use and will no doubt continue to do so throughout the ages. Everyday appliances are becoming smarter and more sophisticated – soon humans will no longer be needed to make a descision as your kettle has decided for you when you’d like a cup of tea and started boiling, while your washing machine has already started spinning madly in anticipation for when you’ll be home according to your next gen smartphone calendar.
All of this isn’t strictly available yet (won’t be far off though!) but everything is becoming more and more advanced. Even your fridge will soon start telling you what to eat, and suggest some recipes depending on what’s inside it and then hold your hand (not literally) while you go ahead and follow it’s instructions. Celebrity chefs will hate this product if it ever comes to market.
Designer Ashley Legg has come up with a touch screen fridge concept where the door is a large touchscreen. Have a look at the concept images below at how Ashley envisages the fridge to work in the future.
As said this is only a concept design right now but if you’d like a more basic present day alternative Electrolux are developing their very own version of the above. Granted not as slick though!

what a very good learn.
I love the new design! One thing thgouh:the navigation icons seem to be too glossy and not bright enough. It seems to me like they would be a lot more legible if they were just a bit brighter.Just my thgouhts, but overall an amazing job!
